Monte Verde CLOUD FOREST
This world famous reserve provides beautiful scenery for a
great hike through the wonders of the cloud forest.
Your guide will search for the most incredible birds and you
can admire the prehistoric ferns and the trees full of
epiphytes and moss. The treetop walkways are approximately 3
kilometers and cross the cloud forest on 8 different
suspension bridges.
In addition, you will explore a community that includes more
than 20 species of tropical butterflies and a beautiful
garden with more than 14 species of hummingbirds.
Canopy Description:
This activity consists of 15
cables, 18 platforms and one Tarzan Swing. There is a total
of 2.0 miles of total cable length. It is suitable for
people of all ages although it's not recommended for certain
people with extreme weight excess. You will cross the forest canopy passing through three sections of cables
in which you need to take small walks in between each section. During one of these walks you will reach our Tarzan
Swing where those with an Adventurous spirit will surely get
a blast. The Tarzan Swing is a side activity included in the
tour where we give you the option to swing through the
forest while attached to a high security rope. To complete
the canopy takes approximately 2- 1/2 hours. It is safe for
all size of people although some restrictions may apply.
What to bring:

pants, t-shirt, hiking shoes or similar, raincoat, bug
repellent, camera, binoculars, extra change of dry clothes
(optional).
